FFMHA Updates
The FFMHA website is in the process of creating the Team Pages(Rosters,Coaches...) for all of the leagues. Because there is a large number of players to be added to the system the process will take a little time. All of these new features that "NGIN" provides will give the FFMHA website a fun experience for players and parents.
He Shoots, He Scores!
The FFMHA is looking to add interesting and creative pictures of its players and teams during the course of this season. It can be an action shot, team tournament photo or any photo that you think your player(s) would like to see on this website for everyone to appreciate.
Here is an example from last years FFMHA Atom "AA" Canadians
Let's Play Some HOCKEY!
On Saturday September 29th, 2012 the Northwestern Ontario Pee Wee "AA" Hockey League began its inaugural season. The league is comprised of "AA" programs in Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden and Sioux Lookout. The four minor hockey associations and their respective "AA" Pee Wee Programs got together to make this "idea" a reality. The driving force behind the league was to give the "AA" parents, coaches and most importantly the players a sense of meaning to the 2012-2013 "hockey season". Instead of just playing in weekend hockey tournaments it was discussed that with all of the hockey talent in the area that a league would be a great way to showcase its talent.
Each "AA" program will play a series of two games at an agreed upon location and on an "open weekend". The belief of this league system is that playing under this format will save on travel time, expenses and resources. Due to ice availablity and its central location the first instalment of league games will be held in Vermilion Bay and Dryden with the hope that each program will host its own series of gamesi
A positive, competitive and respectful rivalry will be encouraged by all of the involved "AA" programs, parents, coaches and players.
FFMHA will keep track of league standings, team statistics and players stats.
